Guizhou Duyun Art and Culture Center
Guizhou Duyun Art and Cultural Center is located in Duyun City, Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is one of the key public cultural service facilities developed by the local government, undertaking multiple functions such as cultural display, artistic exchange, public activities, and urban image presentation. As an important carrier of regional cultural development, the project serves as a core component in promoting the integrated development of culture, tourism, and sports in Duyun.
The overall planning of the project is guided by the design concept of “culture-led and ecological integration,” combining the natural landscape characteristics of Duyun as a mountainous and riverside city. It aims to create a comprehensive cultural complex integrating a cultural center, art exhibition spaces, performance venues, and public activity areas. The architectural design emphasizes the integration of regional cultural expression with modern architectural language, featuring fluid lines and open spatial layouts to present a modern, dynamic, and culturally rich urban image.
In terms of spatial organization, the project highlights public accessibility and openness, fully meeting the needs of citizens’ cultural activities while accommodating large-scale performances and exhibitions. It has become an important cultural activity center and a key urban public space node in Duyun.
During the construction of the Guizhou Duyun Art and Cultural Center, aluminum panel curtain wall systems are widely applied in both exterior facades and interior decoration works, serving as one of the key materials to achieve the architectural form and functional requirements.
1. Material Characteristics
Aluminum panels are fabricated from high-strength aluminum alloy sheets, featuring light weight, high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and strong weather resistance. These properties make them well-suited for the rainy and humid climate of Guizhou. In addition, the material supports a variety of surface treatments such as PVDF coating, wood-grain finishes, and customized colors, and can be processed into curved surfaces and complex geometric forms to meet diverse architectural design needs.
2. Application Areas
In this project, aluminum panels are mainly used in:
Exterior facade curtain wall systems to create a modern and artistic overall appearance
Local curved structures and decorative components to achieve streamlined and sculptural architectural effects
Ceilings and wall finishes in interior public spaces to enhance spatial quality and visual layering
Entrance facades and gateway areas to strengthen the identity and ceremonial sense of the cultural building
